Monty a Mohair Faux Vintage Bear




Hi Everyone.
Hope you are all well?
I am very pleased to introduce Monty, a mohair faux vintage, well loved and hugged bear, Who is patiently awaiting adoption. Monty has taken several days of hard work, love and creativity to make. I do hope you like him as much as I do : ) I have really tried hard to capture the true character of this little bear. Bingo a miniature bear

Magic the Rabbit

Edmund




Hi Everyone
I have been working hard over the weekend creating a new style bear, my first bear with eyelids : ) Edmund is approx 8 inches high and made from soft Schulte 15 and 22 mm gold mohair. He has his own pretty lace ruff which is elasticated so can be removed if required.

British Bear Artist Awards 2010




Hi Everyone
Hope you all have had a great weekend? I would just like to share some great news with you... Bears of Bath has just been nominated for a British Bear Artist Award which will be held in Brighton in December this year. I have been nominated for my hand embroidered bear 'Tilly' who was inspired by the famous poem by William Blake 'The Tyger' Tilly is made from beautiful soft 22mm Schulte Mohair and has cashmere paws and ears. She has a hand embroidered belly and footpads which echo the words of the famous poem. It is all my own design.
