Just a few of my recently adopted bears

These are a few of the bears which have found new homes over the last few weeks.

'My Teddy Bear'
This was my tribute to Elvis' childhood bear Mabel who was at Wookey Hole Teddy Bear Museum. Unfortunately poor Mabel met a sticky end when she was destroyed on night by a guard dog. This is my own design and is painted on canvas which has been treated. I used quality acrylic paints and then varnished the canvas several times for protection and durability.

This is my 'Cherub' bear who has a classical feel. He is made out of VERY soft Faux Fur, with mohair around his eyes. He like my Elvis bear is fully cotter pin jointed.

My 2010 to do list

I decided last week that I needed to get more focused on my bear making and not to get side tracked into doing other things!

I set out a list of objectives which I must follow.

1) Make more bears
2) Get more bears out for sale
3) Set up an Etsy account
4) Don't hide - publisise
5) Get an article in one of the Teddy Bear Magazines
6) Set up a Blog (one down 5 to go!)
